How JUVEDERM fillers work
JUVEDERM® represents a “family” of hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers. HA is a gel-like substance naturally found in the body. It attracts water to help maintain tissue hydration. With collagen it provides the framework for tight, young, healthy skin.
As we age, collagen becomes less abundant, tissues thin and contours change. Tissue sags; folds form; and wrinkles deepen.
